I have been a pet owner and animal lover for as long as I can remember. From goldfish that I won at the fair, a bunny that looked like the rabbit from the Blockbuster commercial, with two beautiful golden retrievers that took over the majority of my life. I have never know what it is like to live without a pet until recently.
AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society) was kind enough to have me in their Safe Heaven this morning! I am excited to announce that I will be moving forward to work alongside AARCS to change lives through kindness, compassion and integrity.
The undeniable love that an animal can provide and receive is a blessing to have in a person's life. Unfortunately, animal homelessness and cruelty are very real and prevalent in our society. AARCS makes animal welfare their priority and is educating people on proper animal care and compassion.
AARCS has expanded operations to include additional programs: Spay/Neuter & Disease Prevention Initiative, Emergency Medical Care Program, Emergency Shelter Care Program, Humane Education Program, Dog House Program and Pet Food Program.
AARCS Dueling Pianos is one event that is a highlight of their unbelievable fundraisers.

"Party the night away for AARCS! Stand up, SING LOUD, stay late! Request songs you LOVE from the 60′s to the present and enjoy the LIVE DUELING PIANO action! Last year’s event sold out and raised over $20,000 for the animals in AARCS’ care!"
